On Friday  24th March 2023 pupils from sixth class took part in a robotics workshop. This is an initiative funded  by  Analog Devices. 
The children learned about construction, gear ratios, torque, balance, speed, velocity, gravity  and computer programming. Working in teams and using LEGO WeDo resources, children designed & built robots, discovered how to program them and competed in a series of challenges.Their task was to work well as a team to  build a fully functioning robot. 
Ailbhe, Eppie  and Ciara will represent the school in the Limerick Final of the Robotics Programme. Well done girls!
