​We had a fun filled literacy week where we all explored the book Once upon an ordinary school day, we did Drop Everything And Read every day, our reading buddies met up twice during the week and we had a Booknic - a reading picnic. Our week culminated in dressing up as our favourite characters and a whole school quiz.   We also talked about our favourite books and the different places we can go when we read – magical kingdoms, castles, and anywhere our imagination and the story takes us.
